As always, it was wonderful to have my mom here visiting. Soooo much fun was packed into the weekend! We hung out in Harlem for a good part of her visit, reading books, dying eggs, playing games, and snuggling kiddos.
We took a trip to the movie theater to see "How to Train a Dragon," and Maya thought it was a fun place to yell and squeal with delight. So yes, even she enjoyed the experience. :)

On Saturday we celebrated my sister's birthday by heading to Max Brenner's for dinner and unbeatable chocolate desserts. Little did we know that there would be a huge pillow fight taking place in Union Square.... so it was a very crowded but entertaining walk to the restaurant.

Everyone enjoyed their food... (Zoe had kids mac and cheese with marinara)

... and desserts... (that is chocolate peanut butter pizza)

... Sunday we celebrated Easter at church and then headed to Brooklyn for a yummy meal at Karen and Matt's

... and, as hoped for, my mom saw her first NYC rat. Actually, she saw two! Can you spot this one?
